North Vietnam travel attractions:
Hanoi: The capital of Vietnam with Noi Bai International Airport. Travelers can visit the city in a half or full day by car, motorbike or walking tours.
Duong Lam Ancient Village: 60 KM from Hanoi, a half day is fine to visit the village from Hanoi. Huong Pagoda: 60 KM from Hanoi. There are daily 1 day tours to the complex from Hanoi

Moc Chau: 220KM from Hanoi, a new travel destination in Northwest Vietnam, a mountainous town with eco-tourism projects, multi ethnic minorities, tea farms.

The tour normally starts from Hanoi as biggest international airport located there. A half or 1 day Hanoi city tour is enough then travelers can continue to these destinations, select some of them in your tour:
- Halong Bay (180 KM from Hanoi): Tours to Halong Bay can be 1, 2 or 3 days with daily or overnight trips
- Cat Ba: Travelers can combine Cat Ba with Halong in a 3 day trip or visit the island in a 2 day tour program via Hai Phong City
- Ninh Binh (100 KM from Hanoi): Famous with Hoa Lu, Tam Coc, Bich Dong, Van Long Lagoon, Trang An Nature reserves. 1 or 2 day trip to Ninh Binh is fine
- Sapa (350 KM) from Hanoi: Travelers can travel to Sapa by night trains, which depart from Hanoi every evening or by car/ bus.
- Mai Chau (180 KM) from Hanoi: 1 or 2 days to Mai Chau is fine.
- Northwest: If you want to discover the whole area, you may need to spend the whole 10 days for Mai Chau – Moc Chau – Son La, Dien Bien – Lai Chau – Sapa
